Introduction:

Any information gathered on this site will be kept strictly confidential. ESC! Publications, will never sell, re-use, rent, loan or otherwise disclose any information on you to any third party. We will never use the information you provide in any ways to which you have not specifically consented. We will use the utmost care in protecting the sanctity and security of your information.

If you do not want your personal information collected, please do not submit it to us.

The guidelines at this site are applicable only to this domestic web site. Information submitted solely in a business capacity is not covered by these guidelines.

Our privacy policy applies only to our web site and not to sites that may be linked to ours. You should refer to those sites' own privacy policies to learn how they collect and use information about you.

Use of Information:

ESC! Publications, does not sell, rent, loan, trade, lease or otherwise transfer any personal information collected on our site, including membership forms or e-mail lists, to any third party. We will treat any information you provide as confidential information and will not disclose it to any third party.

Browser information collected on our web site:

As part of the operation of this site ESC! Publications maintains server logs regarding visits to our web site. Most companies and web sites maintain such server logs as a function of operating web sites. ESC! Publications analyze such logs in an effort to constantly improve the value of materials on the site. The logs do not contain personally identifiable information. ESC! Publications does not make any attempt to link the traffic information on the site with the individuals who actually visit the site. From time to time, ESC! Publications, may break down overall usage statistics according to a user's domain name, browser type, and MIME type by reading information from the browser string (information contained in every user's browser). Again, we make no efforts to associate this information with individual users.

Cookies:

A cookie is a small data file that certain web sites write to your Web browser (your computer's hard drive) so it can later be read back from that browser. A cookie file can contain certain information such as a user ID that the site uses to track the pages you have visited on that site. 

Privacy of Our E-Mail Lists:

ESC! Publications, maintains e-mail lists, but only of those individuals or organizations that have specifically opted to receive updates and other information from ESC! Publications. These lists include clients, members of the media and interested members of the general public who have specifically requested to be kept informed about breaking events.

Individuals must affirmatively request to be placed on our lists. Any personal information provided by such individuals will be used only to send the users such information.

We do not sell, rent, loan, trade or lease the addresses on our lists to anyone. In addition, we configure our list server software to refuse to divulge the e-mail addresses of our list subscribers to anyone but authorized staff, including other list subscribers.

If you send us e-mail with a question or comment, we will use your e-mail address only to respond to you. We will store your e-mail, e-mail address and a copy of our response for archival purposes only. We will archive such information only for the length of time necessary to fulfill these archival purposes.

Correction and Update Policy:

Please send us e-mail at Changes to ask us for any information we may have collected about you during your visits to our site. You may also use that address to correct and/or update information that we may have on file.

ESC! Publications, allows users to review and agree to the Privacy Policy before submitting any personally identifiable information. In addition, because at least one link to the Privacy Policy appears on each page of this site, it is readily accessible to users.

Children:

No part of this site is directed towards children. We will never knowingly collect information from users under the age of 13.

Delete/Deactivation Policy:

If you wish to completely delete any personal information you submitted to ESC! Publications, you may do so by contacting us at Delete. We will notify you of our receipt of your request. We will use reasonable efforts to functionally delete all such information from our database within five working days from the date of the receipt of your request. Please note that it may be impossible to delete a user's entry without some residual information because of backups and records of deletions.

Length of Time Data Will Be Stored:

Unless you request that we delete any of the information you submitted to ESC! Publications, when you registered for any electronic updates and/or newsletters we may offer, we will store such information for an indefinite period of time. At the conclusion of that time, all such information will be deleted.

What Else Should You Know?

Please be careful and responsible whenever you're online. If you post personal information online that is accessible to the public, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return. While we strive to protect your personal information, ESC! Publications, cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk.
