Stick Death

This week's site comes to you from the world of the bizarre.  Very bizarre.

When you were a kid, did you ever have stick figure wars?  My friends and I would act out little war scenes by drawing them on paper.  Out "soldiers" were stick figures and each of them carried a stick machine gun.  They flew stick planes.  And in really intense battles, the paper would often rip and the pencil would blunt from the "explosions" we would draw.  Anyway...

This week's web site takes you into the mind of an individual who continuously invents new ways for his stick figures to "die".  Now let me warn you right now that, while the blood is quite fake, and the figures are only sticks, the scenes can be quite graphic and vulgar in a humorous(?) way.  It's not unusual to see stick figure getting their heads cut off by myriad household implements, guns, gymnastic equipment, etc.  So I guess what I'm saying is, humor is a very subjective thing, if you are easily offended, don't go there!  And by all means, AS ALWAYS, monitor your children's activities on the web.

So what kind of animations will you see at the site?  How about a bear biting off the head of his stick circus trainer (Bear Bike) or a stick guy getting his head sliced off when trying to grab a beer stuck in a giant mouse trap (Men As Mice)?  Those are some of my favorites from the site.  Others I like include Cordless, Free Beer and Hot.

Will you enjoy the site?  Well, I have to admit that I don't like all of the cartoons, but then again, I don't like all of the Looney Toons or Tom and Jerrys I've seen either.  In particular though, I'd have to say that I've never really been a fan of suicide jokes or scatological (real word?) humor.  Fortunately, however, most of the Stick figures on the site are just editorial comments on the stupidity of the human race (see Free Beer or Men as Mice listed above).  So, no, I don't think you'll enjoy all of the cartoons, but if you liked the Black Knight losing his arms and legs in the Monty Python movie Quest for the Holy Grail, I'm sure you'll get a kick out of at least one cartoon, and judging by the comments Rob makes throughout his site, that'll make him happy.

Stick Death Site Rating: 7/10
