Full Screen Dancer

Design and Animation: Olivier Besson
Music: Julien Jabre
Main Web Site: http://www.multimania.com/goprof

This week's site is a simple one.  So simple in fact that you may wonder where the thrill is.  Trust me on this one folks, if you just decide to read the review and move on, you'll miss out on some real fun.

Basically, what you have here is a stick figure who looks a lot like PacMan with arms and legs.  When you first arrive at the site, he (she?) is just standing there bouncing back and forth to the beat of the music.  Where the coolness comes in is when you realize that you have control over this creature and its dancing.  Click on the arms icon and the arms will rotate amongst different patterns of dancing.  Same hold true for his legs and body.  As you click, you realize that not only is the Full Screen Dancer dancing, but you're vicariously dancing through him.  Need a little help? Click the "C" icon.  Turn off the music by clicking the speaker icon.

Okay, so the site is not rocket science and you'll probably get bored with it rather quickly.  Heck, you may not even like the music -- though I find it kind of catchy, but I think it'll at least bring a smile to your face and, after all, isn't that worth a break from online stock quotes?  I thought so.

Happy Dancing!
